Wow, I feel wierd as a guest.. Guess it has been a while. The reason I logged on is to mention, professionalism, and the Quality of care your team put out, and to get the records straight . Date, 16 September, Aahh Friday night!! I was on the Medic unit and called to the pedestrian vs F-150. When asked what his injuries were, I tell people his left arm is ok. This individual was a train wreck. The care that was given and the information relayed to the Medic Unit prior to arrival, amplified any chances the person had for survival. Yes, the medic unit had a few moments with the crew and patient. And No, the medic unit didn't have a need for much. You guys did it all, even set up the tube kit for us. It was a great feeling to run with a team of this Quality........ Thanks, see ya on the streets and the pleasure is all mine!!

I was just wanted to stop by and say hello. I see everyone is having babies and getting married!!! Glad to hear!!!! Well, as usual, lots going on here. I am actually starting Med school here at Michigan State... going to be an OB/GYN. :) I don't have time to run calls anymore. I miss that. Wedding bells are in my future as well, have not set a date... probably Winter of 07', got to get through school a little more! Glad to see all is well. If anyone wants to email me, feel free....

Great Website. LPVRS has always been a great resource to St Mary County (along wtih the otehr volunteer FDs and Rescue Orgs). Thanks to all the volunteers that are doing such a great job and giving selflessly to the community.

Congrats to Ernie but knew he couldn't stay retired cause he loves it so and that's a big plus for all the folks in St. Mary's County. He is truly one of the great volunteers of the EMS system. Always with a great since of humor and on some calls that is a good thing. Nice to hear you back on the road and look forward to seeing you on a manpower assist.

I just want to say it has been a Year today since my accident on FDR BLVD ( In ft on Ledo's ) and I want you guys to know I think of you guys all the time and I am so Thankful for everyone on the scene who was by my daughter's side..( Makyia )
She is 3 now and will be 4 in October and I am happy to say she has made a full recovery and is doing wonderful. I know LPVRS was on the accident scene and also responded quickly to our 911 call a couple days after the accident when she was having seizures and since that day she has had no seizures and is doing so great. I cant say enough How Thankful I am for you guys..Thanks so Much and I greatly appreciate what you guys do and I will never forget LPVRS or the day of the Tragic Accident. Thanks again and Keep up the good work.

Two buildings? 4000 calls a year? 113 members? AND your own website? My, how times do change. It is hard to believe that it's been 20 years but I guess it has been. I only recognise two of the officers names, but I would suppose that there's a couple others that are still there from when I was. Drop me a line if you've a mind to at gke@ncctv.net. I got out of the Navy in 92 and settled down back in Vermont, just as I always said I would. I hold LPVRS fondly in my memory and wish you all the best!

2005 Officers - CONGRATS! I found this website while surfing and it was so much fun to look at some old familiar faces and relive some wonderful memories. :) I still teach CPR & First Aid and plan to do EMS again one day, but I've never forgotten where I got my start (thanks Kim D & Gary G). LPVRS is now, and always will be, a part of my heart. You guys are terrific and keep gettig better with age!!! Donna V, Ron & Karon - you guys STILL look the same as you did when I met you 21 years ago. Congrats on being lifetime members. To all you newbies - keep up the good work and have faith - it does get easier. :) The Installation of Officers pics were a lot of fun to look at - still love ya Dorothy (Tinkerbell)! Take care everyone...God bless you all.

Hey guys how's it going out there? I really miss running with you all but wanted to let you know that after my five month vacation I have been picked up full time as an EMT/driver for a critical care ambulance in Seattle!!
