Companies 39 and 38 were dispatched along with fire departments to a reported working house fire at 21635 Atalanta St. Amb. 397 and Amb. 398 both responded at dispatch with Amb. 397 arriving a short time later and staged their personnel and equipment at the front of the residence. The firefighters made quick work of the fire and command held it with units on the scene. At this time command requested EMS to side A of the building to assist 2 dogs that had been removed from the structure and were suffering from severe smoke inhalation and heat and were unresponsive. Amb 397's crew provided oxygen and used ice packs to revive both dogs. Animal control arrived and transported both animals to be treated further. Great work by all that were there.
