LPVRS is proud to announce the Officer of the Month, Terri Van Asdlen and Squad Person of the Month Bridget Wimberly.
Terri is LPVRS's Supply Officer. This is a long and tedious job making sure that all of our ambulances are equipped with supplies for the calls that our members respond to and overseeing a dedicated crew that works closely with her. Along with her job she makes sure that our squad is up to date with the latest and greatest equipment to best serve our community. Along with her "supply" duties Terri runs her duty hours required for the Rescue Squad. Terri also was Co-chair on the committee for our new ambulance overhaul and purchase and has helped with numerous operational jobs requested by the RS Chief.
Bridget joined the Rescue Squad in 2010 while she was a sophomore at Great Mills High School. She is currently an IV Tech. Bridget received Squad Person of the Month for her dedication of filling in whenever asked and routinely running over 75 hours monthly in the past couple months along with working her full time job. We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Bridget on her newly appointed position as a Lieutenant for the Rescue Squad.
Please join me and the rest of the LPVRS members in congratulating Bridget and Terri on a job well done in receiving the awards for the month of January.
